Father Boyle’s thoughtful words provide a powerful opening for our upcoming theme in 2025, “Bearing Witness”.  This is the path Jesus demonstrates and teaches about.  It is not an easy path.  It cannot be taken alone, but in community.  The core practices of Kairos Collective were chosen as guideposts for this path because we need all three weaving throughout each other.  “Taking the right stand” can too easily arise from an empty ideology. “Standing in the right place” is a rigorous, beautiful combination of contemplation, relationships and just action done in community.
